As a tribute to Baron Haussmann, the illustrious owner of Château de Rouillac between 1864 and 1891, Laurent Cisneros is perpetuating the memory of this great builder who left his mark on the history of Paris and Château de Rouillac, by producing a cuvée called Le Baron de Rouillac.
  • APPELLATION A.O.C. : Pessac-Léognan Red
  • TOTAL AREA: 36 hectares, including 26 hectares of vines
  • SOILS: Fine tertiary gravel
  • BLENDING: 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Merlot
  • HARVESTING: Hand-picked in crates and sorted on a sorting table.
  • VINIFICATION : Alcoholic fermentation and vatting in temperature-controlled vats. Vatting time: 20 days. Cap punching and pumping over.
  • AGEING: French oak barrels and stainless steel vats.
