« With maturity, I have tempered and improved, like my wines, I hope… I have embraced the codes of the wine world while remaining true to my roots and who I am. I need connections and emotions to move forward and fully embrace it in my way of living and working with family and the team. » Laurent Cisneros

A HISTORIC Estate
Historical estate, an old noble land bequeathed in the 17th century by an advisor to the King of France and shaped by Baron Haussmann.
- 1864: CONSTRUCTION OF CHÂTEAU DE ROUILLAC BY BARON HAUSSMANNChâteau de Rouillac was his favorite retreat when, tired of his gargantuan Parisian project, he longed for a few days of rest. Through his marriage to a Bordelaise woman, he developed a particular affection for this beautiful property nearby, situated on a providential ridge of gravelly soil, and its excellent red wines. Enamored with comfort and pleasure, he ordered numerous works and shaped the estate with his theories and convictions. Rouillac, with its aligned structures and luminous facade, Rouillac, with its square courtyard and landscaped spaces, Rouillac with its stables and orangery, Rouillac, forever marked by its Baron's monogram... Everything was then order, progress, and elegance, and the castle long remained nostalgic for those times. Centuries passed, owners succeeded each other, but never again did reason or harmony reign at Château de Rouillac until 2009...
- 2010: PURCHASE OF THE PROPERTY BY LAURENT CISNEROSLaurent Cisneros, an insatiable entrepreneur, came across the property in 2009 and fell in love with this beautiful sleeping beauty. He decided to seal his destiny and that of his family at Rouillac. An accomplished leader, his ambition sought new grounds to conquer and other challenges to face. Rouillac had everything to embody a new life project: a generous terroir and an exceptional working tool that just needed revitalizing. Alongside this professional project, his personal balance is intertwined with that of his family and his passion for horses. Sophie, his wife, Mélanie, Ophélie, and Eugénie, his three daughters, have taken over the place and brought the estate back to life. The horses have found their way back to the Château's former stables. Uranie, Apache, Gemme, Titan, and the others are raised with care to better express their character and personality.
