The label of this Grand Vin is adorned with a Rose des Vents (Wind Rose), which is very present on the estate and can be seen in the forecourt of the Château. A symbol of direction, it represents the new course set by Laurent Cisneros and his family at Château de Rouillac.
  • APPELLATION A.O.C. : Pessac-Léognan White
  • TOTAL AREA: 36 hectares, including 26 hectares of vines
  • SOIL: Fine tertiary gravel
  • BLENDING : 70 % Sauvignon Blanc, 16 % Sémillon, 14 % Sauvignon Gris
  • HARVESTING: Hand-picked in crates and sorted on a sorting table.
  • VINIFICATION: 24-hour skin contact maceration, cold pneumatic pressing and alcoholic fermentation in new French oak barrels.
  • AGEING: on lees for 9 months. 1/3 in new French oak barrels and 2/3 in one-wine barrels. Regular stirring of the lees.
